how to be an instant genius?

i met a wise old man that gave me a tip on how to be an instant genius.
the steps are given below :

1. fill a pot with water.
2. soak as many books as u can inside the pot
3. let it simmer until all the ink has gone into the pot.
4. drink the water.

if it doesnt work, try again the wise man said.
genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration.
